This article discusses how the rapid development of digital infrastructure and the widespread introduction of modern technologies have not only opened up new opportunities, but also created threats to the security of the state, society, and business. In particular, transnational criminal groups are using cyberspace for financial fraud, data theft, malware distribution, and other illegal activities. In response to these calls, Uzbekistan is actively improving legislation, strengthening international cooperation, and taking appropriate measures to combat crimes in the field of information technology in order to protect national interests and ensure digital security.
