Muallif baholash jarayonini zamonaviy o'qitish va o'qitishning eng muhim elementlaridan biri deb hisoblaydi: o'quv jarayonini boshqarish samaradorligi ko'p jihatdan baholashni to'g'ri tashkil etishga bog'liq. Ushbu maqolada har bir talabaning ta'lim natijalari aniq ta'lim maqsadi bilan bog'liq bo'lgan baholash sifatida mezonlarga asoslangan baholash tushunchasi ochib berilgan. Mezonlarga asoslangan baholashning afzalliklari va turlari yoritilgan.
