This article discusses approaches to the study of religion and medicine in scientific research, since throughout the history of mankind the issue of medicine has never lost its relevance. In particular, the focus of discussion has been on its compatibility with religion or its contradiction to religious teachings. Although ancient medical works by scholars do not contain religious motives, the issue of medicine has always been elucidated in religious literature. Later, as the role of religion in society grew, medical scientists attempted to justify their views with religion.
