This article provides a cross-classification of clothing names in world linguistics and our national linguistics. It also provides information on ethnic and cross-cultural influences, terminological updates, new forms and features. The results of experimental work on clothing names are of great importance in the development of clothing names, new products and their development, satisfying user requests, creating innovations in fashion industry, and determining economic directions. These results have great implications in linguistics and in the creation and development of naming clothing terms.
