Abstract

A study of the main provisions of the Convention shows a solid framework aimed at preventing corruption, prosecuting offenders and expanding international cooperation. This article discusses specific tasks and legal mechanisms established by the Criminal Law Convention on Corruption of the Council of Europe to effectively combat corruption.
