The article provides an overview of Ibn Khaldun's views on social development and societal organization. By examining historical processes and social structures, Ibn Khaldun identified patterns in state formation and mechanisms of social evolution. His concept of asabiyyah, interpreting social relations through the lens of ethnic and cultural belonging, is analyzed. The paper illuminates the significance of his work for contemporary understanding of social processes and their historical dynamics.
