The tasks of researching and analyzing the data presented in primary written sources, as well as in special historical literature on the ethnic composition and number of the population of Zarafshan muzofot and its Kattakurgan section, summarizing them, are set to determine the characteristics of the number and ethnic composition of the population. There are a number of references to the number of inhabitants of the cuttackurghan section by category and Nationality.
