This article is devoted to the typology and lexicographic study of everyday vocabulary based on materials from the Russian and Uzbek languages. The study examines the features of the formation, use and recording of everyday vocabulary in the dictionaries of both languages. Typological differences and similarities in the lexical systems of the Russian and Uzbek languages, as well as methods and approaches to the lexicographical recording of everyday vocabulary are analyzed.
