EDUCATIONAL SIGNIFICANCE OF FAMILY CEREMONIES OF THE UZBEK PEOPLE

The purpose of the research: In this article, the religious and educational views, rituals, customs and traditions related to the birth of a child and family ceremonies, which have existed in Uzbek families since ancient times, are ethnographically analyzed. Uzbek peoples have been distinguished by the variety and diversity of their family traditions and ceremonies since ancient times. Family traditions and ceremonies related to the upbringing of children of the Uzbek people are especially important. There is a wise saying in our people: "Start raising a child before he is born. "That is why our ancestors started raising a child by choosing parents for him. Today, it is considered as "obsolete", but it is one of the urgent issues to shed light on these customs and ceremonies, which are part of our nation's culture, and their educational significance. The essence of the family rituals of the Uzbek people is that these rituals serve the strength of family relationships and the perfection of children's education. According to their origins, these rituals go back to long historical periods. Today, these traditions and rituals are losing their importance as a result of transformational processes, and modern traditions are taking their place.
