Abstract

This article conducted a linguistic study of business discourse in order to understand the key elements that contribute to the implementation of successful communication in the business environment. It substantiated that business discourse is a communication practice carried out in a business context that includes written and oral forms of communication. It was also pointed out that effective business discourse is essential to ensure clear, compact and targeted interactions that help achieve business goals. Business discourse refers to the use of language in a business context that includes a wide range of forms of communication, such as meetings, negotiations, emails, reports, presentations, interactions on social media, etc. It is characterized by a goal orientation, a formal or semi-formal tone, a special vocabulary and strategic use of persuasion techniques. Effective business speech is not only the exchange of information, but also the establishment of relationships, the management of emotions and the achievement of strategic goals. The article aims to study the concept of business discourse in a linguistic way, researching its interpretations, characteristics, functions, and significance in the modern business world, as well as its role in describing the linguistic landscape of the universe. The article uses techniques such as characterization, classification, systematization methods, analogy, component analysis, functional synergistic discourse analysis to achieve the intended goal. The study identified seven types of business discourse (formal business discourse type, informal business discourse type, trusted business discourse type, instructive business discourse type, negotiation discourse type, conflict resolution discourse type, and collaborative business discourse types).
