В данной научной статье проанализирована специализированная литература, где выявлено отсутствие научно обоснованных рекомендаций по вопросам оптимизации планирования и построения тренировочных программ, распределению специальной целевой тренировочной нагрузки разной направленности в годичном цикле подготовки триатлонистов на этапе спортивного совершенствования. Изучены особенности построения сегментов планирования тренировочного макроцикла, с учетом требований блоковой периодизации и на их основе сформировано программно-методическое обеспечение подготовки триатлонистов.
