This scientific article analyzes the specialized literature, which reveals the lack of scientifically sound recommendations on optimizing the planning and construction of training programs, the distribution of a special target training load of different directions in the annual cycle of training triathletes at the stage of sports improvement. The features of the construction of the segments of the training macrocycle planning are studied, taking into account the requirements of block periodization, and on their basis, software and methodological support for the training of triathletes is formed.
