The article discusses the constitutional and legal foundations of education for blind and visually impaired children, as well as the relevant normative legal documents. It outlines the educational conditions created for these children and the priority tasks in national legislation regarding the development of their speech and communication skills. The educational processes in special schools and the principles of inclusive education are also highlighted.
