Abstract

This article examines the determinants influencing cognitive modeling of polysemous linguistic terms across English, Uzbek, and Russian. The study explores how cultural, cognitive, and contextual factors impact the understanding and use of polysemy in these languages. Findings suggest that cognitive processes, including metaphorical mapping, cultural relevance, and semantic associations, play a significant role in shaping polysemy across diverse linguistic landscapes.
