The influence of chess on the formation of human intellectual qualities is of great scientific and pedagogical interest. Chess, as a strategic board game, requires developed logical thinking, attention, memory and the ability to plan actions several steps ahead. Regular practice improves cognitive skills that can be used in other areas of life. Research shows that regular chess playing helps develop logical thinking, memory, concentration, patience and self-control, as well as creativity. Chess is used in educational programs as a means of developing intellectual and personal qualities in children and adults. Many schools include chess in the curriculum to help students improve their academic performance and develop important life skills. The article discusses the development of a person involved in sports through the influence and benefits of chess on intellectual and physical development.
