In this article, the author analyzes the role of customs authorities in ensuring national economic interests and legal security. Considering the current integration changes in the global economic system, the expansion of economic freedoms, the strengthening of relations among business entities, the development of cross-border electronic commerce and the legal protection of domestic markets from unfair competition, the article highlights organizational and legal issues aimed at mitigating potential risks.
