This article analyzes the importance of using mathematical methods in imparting economic and social geographical knowledge. It highlights some of the possibilities of studying territorial processes using statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, and geographic information systems, with special attention paid to their effectiveness and practical application in the educational process.
