This article examines the evolving forms of the image of women throughout the 20th century, analyzing the social, cultural, and political changes that shaped perceptions of femininity. The article examines important historical events, such as the impact of the two world wars and the rise of feminist movements. The analysis also examines the image of women in the media and literature, and how this has affected public opinion and ongoing reforms towards gender equality.
