This article explores the historical and philosophical roots of the concepts of social justice and the rule of law, as well as their significance and role in building a democratic society. In particular, it highlights the rule of law as a fundamental principle of the legal state concept and social justice as a guarantee of equality, freedom, and human rights. The paper also analyzes the constitutional reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan, efforts to build a civil society, and the political-legal mechanisms aimed at ensuring the supremacy of the law.
