Maqolada zamonaviy iqtisodiy sharoitda kompaniyalarda marketing tadqiqotlarini tashkil etishning ahamiyati va zarurligi muhokama qilindi. Ushbu mavzu boʻyicha turli mualliflarning asarlarida marketing tadqiqotlarining taʼrifi oʻrganiladi. Marketing tadqiqotlarini tashkil etish kompaniyalarning maqsadlari va funksiyalariga boʻysunadi va kompaniyalarning istiqbollarini belgilaydi. Shularni hisobga olgan holda, oʻrganish davomida marketing tadqiqotlarini rejalashtirish va oʻtkazishdagi muammolar hamda marketing tadqiqotlarining muhimligi haqida fikr yuritildi.
