Tadqiqot Polineziyaning Tinch okeani boʻylab yoyilgan arxipelaglarida yuzaga kelgan polinexial siyosiy tuzilmalar, boshliqlar, dengizchilik asosida vujudga kelgan hududiy birlashmalar, Pasxa madaniyati hamda Tuʼi Tonga, imperiyasi kabi ilk markazlashgan davlatlarning shakllanishining oʻziga xos jihatlariga eʼtibor qaratilgan.
