THE SOCIAL SECURITY POLICY OF THE SOVIET AUTHORITY IN ASSR OF KARAKALPAKISTAN

Abstract

The people of the Karakalpakstan ASSR fought heroically at the front and acted selflessly rear the front from the first days of World War II. In the post-war period, many important works were held for the social protection of disabled people who were seriously injured in the battlefields. The article analyses the care shown to the family members of the brave soldiers of Karakalpakstan who fought heroically on the battlefields and devoted their lives, supporting then financially, provision of pensions and allowances, their employment, allocating industrial goods for needy families, repairing their houses, providing firewood and other facilities.
