This article reveals the peculiarities of the organization of independent work of students, the peculiarities of the formation of competencies when teaching independent hours, as well as the development of basic competencies. The use of innovative approaches in the organization of independent research work is presented in the principles of the formation of competencies necessary for successful professional activity.
