Abstract

This article is about phonetic interference, the most problematic and confusing of the many interferences that occur during the learning of English as a third language in German-experienced students, in which the German speech features of third language learners are related to English. the reasons for the transfer to the language are analyzed and shown with examples, and the teacher's awareness and grapho-phonemic exercises are shown as a solution to such a problem.
