Abstract

This article examines theoretical approaches and the historical development of creative thinking among students. The author explores the periods from ancient Greece to Islam and shows the historical, cultural, and religious contexts of creative thinking. We discuss the views of Plato and Aristotle on creativity, the educational content of ancient monuments, and the pedagogical approaches of Eastern philosophers like Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, Abu Nasr Farabi, and Abu Ali ibn Sina. We pay attention to the spiritual and educational evolution of our people, the perspectives of pedagogues like Alisher Navoi and Abdulla Avloni on education, and the perspectives of Yusuf Khos Hajib and Kaikovus on creative thinking and dynamic features of knowledge. The article discusses the importance of creative thinking and its place in the XXI century educational process. Simultaneously, the article proposes pedagogical methodologies and approaches to foster students' creative thinking skills.
