The great English thinker, philosopher and statesman Francis Bacon is an author who made a great contribution to the development of the essay genre in European literature and philosophy of the XXI-XXII centuries. His treatise «The Great Revival of the Sciences», written during the period of serious social and economic changes in the New Age, which replaced the European Renaissance, is considered one of the valuable and rare works of English literature. This article is dedicated to the study of the unique ideas and thoughts about education and upbringing expressed by the great thinker in this philosophical source.
