This article examines the features of linguistic units in speech and their impact on the communication process. It analyzes how different linguistic units — from phonemes and morphemes to words and sentences — function in speech and convey meaning depending on context and intonation. Particular attention is paid to the influence of aspects such as syntactic structure, lexical meaning, and pragmatics on the interpretation and perception of speech. The article also discusses the specifics of using linguistic units in various communicative situations and speech levels, which allows for a better understanding of the subtleties of language and its role in effective communication. The study emphasizes the importance of considering speech features in language learning and for the development of language teaching methods.
