Abstract

The article comprehensively analyzes the civil-legal mechanisms of protection of personal data of users in the field of web development. Theoretical and practical aspects of legal regulation of personal data processing in the digital environment are considered, current problems of law enforcement practice are analyzed and ways to solve them are proposed. Particular attention is paid to the issues of cross-border data transfer, the responsibility of personal data operators and the effectiveness of existing mechanisms to protect the rights of personal data subjects. Based on the international experience and the analysis of the national legislation of different countries, proposals for improving the legal regulation in this area are being developed.
