This article analyzes the main features of the pedagogical process of involving children in research activities. In preschool education, the role of research activities for children is important, and it serves to develop their independent thinking, problem solving and new knowledge acquisition skills. Research activity helps children to form analytical and creative thinking, freely express their thoughts and expand their knowledge through experience. The article examines methodological approaches, interactive methods and the role of the educator in successfully teaching children research activities in the organization of the pedagogical process. Special attention is paid to the role of the pedagogue in the development of research activities, teaching children to solve problems and stimulating their logical thinking.
