Due to the development of science and technology, the dynamics of population growth is growing at a
cosmic pace. In 1800, the world population was 1 billion, while in 2000 it increased to 7.9 billion. The main reason
why population growth has taken an unexpectedly progressive course over the past two centuries is the
improvement in the quality of life.
By the 2000s, the dynamics of population growth slowed down. This is due to the excessive increase in the need
for medical services, the need for education, changes in the worldview of young people in the process of
globalization (decreasing birth rates), etc., due to which the population is trying to implement its own ways of
transition to a better lifestyle. If 30-40 years ago, having many children in families was a family value, now these
indicators have ceased to interest "young families". Nowadays, having a good quality of life is not about having
more children, but about having fewer children and achieving quality results, becoming the decisive criterion for
material and spiritual life.
We have tried to analyze, as far as possible, and justify based on scientific facts, whether the population of
developed or developing countries of the world has a higher or better quality of life.
