OPPORTUNITIES FOR TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE BASED ON A DIAGNOSTIC APPROACH

Currently, young scientists are being attracted to work on scientific research that will lead to reforms
and innovations in the education system. Knowledge of a foreign language has been and continues to be an area of
activity in which it is necessary to improve the professional qualifications of a medical specialist. Students and
graduates of medical universities do not have enough language and speech skills to adapt to modern conditions of
intercultural professional communication. One of the conditions for achieving communicative competence in a
foreign language is the acquisition and mastery of a certain vocabulary. In medical educational institutions, the
teaching of foreign languages, especially English, is carried out in initial courses, which determines the general
medical nature of the foreign language vocabulary offered for study by students.
