The article covers the history of the occupation of the Ferghana Valley by the Karakhanids based on historical sources and literature. The political processes in Fergana in the 90s of the 10th century are also covered. In particular, the restoration of Samanid power in Ferghana with the help of the Seljuks and the second invasion carried out by Nasr Eloq Khan have been analyzed in detail.
