Translation is almost on the same level as artistic creation in terms of its complexity and effort. This article considers the issues of translation of national coloring words and its classification. The practical significance of this study is the analysis of realias through the translation of Uzbek historical novels into English. The purpose of the research is to analyze the translator's methods in transformation of national words in the English translation of Oybek's novel "Navoi". Research materials are illustrated through analytical and comparative methods. The object of the article is the English translation of Oybek's historical novel "Navoi". The research results show that translating national words (realia) is one of the most difficult tasks for translators. In addition, transcription, transliteration and visual translation are also the right solutions to solve this problem.
