In 1993, the UN General Assembly decided to celebrate May 15 as the International Day of the Family in order to draw the attention of the international community to the institution of the family, to emphasize the importance of preserving this sacred union. Since 1994, this date has been widely celebrated all over the world, and various measures are being implemented in every country to develop the family institution and solve its problems. After all, the family itself plays the main role in the formation of society.
