This article explores the influence of information technologies on the formation of communicative competencies among future linguists. The authors consider the advantages and disadvantages of using modern technological tools in the process of teaching languages and developing interpersonal communication skills. Particular attention is paid to the issues of the effective use of online resources, computer programs and mobile applications for learning languages and enriching linguistic knowledge.
