Abstract

After Abū Ḥanīfah Nuʿmān ibn Thābit and his students founded the Ḥanafī madhhab, the later jurists such as Dabūsi, Sarakhsī and Bazdawī created a set of usul rules by combining the rules introduced by the founders of the madhhab. Famous scholars such as ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz Bukhārī, Bobirti, and Koki, who are mentioned in the article, explained in detail the rules and principles introduced by their predecessors. They proved them and interpreted them with the most authentic arguments. The most important thing is that they divided this information into the most appropriate chapters and sections and wrote down incomparable works that teach the science of the Ḥanafī school of uṣūl al-fiqh. This article talks about the seven most outstanding scholars of the last generation of the Ḥanafī madhhab.
