The article is devoted to the practice of the European Court of Human Rights on the protection of private property. The article provides an analysis of Article 1 of the Additional Protocol No. 1 to the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. in addition, the interpretation of property rights by the European Court of Human Rights, as well as the procedure and conditions for establishing a violation of property rights by the European Court of Human Rights, are considered.
