ACTIVITY OF DOCTORAL STUDIES ESTABLISHED IN HIGHER EDUCATION AND RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

In Uzbekistan, universities and research institutions play a crucial role in advancing doctoral activities. Doctoral activity involves a collection of scientific research and educational tasks aimed at acquiring new knowledge and applying it in practice. Higher education institutions and research institutions create conditions for training highly qualified scientific personnel, contribute to the development of academic fields, and ensure the integration of science and education. Research work is considered one of the essential elements of doctoral work. Universities and research institutions conduct fundamental and applied research in various fields, create a basis for developing new technologies, methods, and approaches. This contributes to enhancing the country's scientific potential and integrating it into the global scientific community. The situation of doctoral education and research conducted in regional educational and scientific institutions in our country, as well as the number, gender, and age distribution of researchers engaged in research there, is analyzed.
