THE CONCEPT OF ACADEMIC WRITING IN ENGLISH AND ITS IMPORTANCE IN THE SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY OF STUDENTS

In today's conditions of modernization of the higher education system, it can be said that the development of students' academic writing skill is one of the factors leading to the development of this field. In particular, when determining the ranking of higher education institutions at the local and global level, it is directly explained by the results of their scientific and academic activity published in international journals. This article is dedicated to giving a detailed definition of the term academic writing and thinking about its role in improving students' scientific activity. In the article, questionnaires were conducted with students of higher education on the topic, conclusions were drawn and recommendations were given.
