Abstract

The article examines the theme of mercy based on the fairy tale-story “The Year of Miracle and Sorrow” as a key theme of L. Borodin’s work, highlights the axiological dominants of the Christian worldview in terms of such categories as good and evil, crime and punishment, love and hatred, mercy and compassion, a miracle.
