This article describes the results of a study of the experience of foreign countries in regulating the activities of commercial banks and its application in the banking system of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The successful practice of commercial banks and innovative approaches to regulation, problems and shortcomings faced by regulators in modern economic conditions are also analyzed.
