Due to the global changes in the field of science and technology, techniques and technology are penetrating into every field, so today it is impossible to imagine learning foreign languages without online programs and platforms. In this article, online platforms such as Lingvist, Canva, Duolingo, ELSA speak, World Up, LearnLanguages24, Nibulang, Yabla, Lingoda provide thematic resources for independent study of professional English during non-philological higher education institutions in the field of automotive engineering. and mastering through software applications, analytical and critical review and evaluation of acquired knowledge. The results of acquisition that can be achieved through this non-traditional approach to professional terminology are analyzed.
