Abstract

The article examines the process of developing the cognitive competence of primary school students. The main aspects of cognitive development, such as perception, attention, memory, thinking and will, as well as their role in successful learning and adaptation at school, are discussed. Special attention is paid to the individual characteristics of students and the need to create conditions for the development of their cognitive abilities. The article also emphasizes the importance of optimizing the educational space and revising teaching methods for the successful development of cognitive competence of primary school students.
