Abstract

The article discusses the directions and methods of organizing swimming lessons for female students. Female students aged 18-20 took part in the experiment. The criteria for the formation of typological study groups at the initial stage of teaching female students swimming are presented. The degree of correlation between the genetically determined propensity for coordinated swimming and indicators of the development of female students’ swimming skills was determined. It has been proven that conservative human heredity definitely influences the process of acquiring motor skills.
