HISTORY OF ARIYANAM VAYJA GEOGRAPHICAL NAME

Abstract

This article is dedicated to Aryana Vaija as a geographical name. The article analyzes the geographical name of Aryana Vaija according to the basis of source studies chronologically: based on the Avesta source on the history of Central Asia and Iran in the oldest period, according to the basis of historiography: the Soviet period, the period of independence, and the works of foreign researchers. It will be explained when the name Aryana Vaija appeared and who introduced these terms, in which sources, in which periods, with what names, and the historical origin of these names should be researched.
