THE STUDY OF THE PROBLEM OF THE IMAGE OF THE AUTHOR OF A LITERARY TEXT IN MODERN LINGUISTIC RESEARCH

The article examines the study of the image of the author of a literary text in the paradigm of modern linguistic research. It was found that the image of the author is an important structural element that unites not only parts of one text, but also all texts, giving them semantic and stylistic unity. It is known that in modern linguistics, the concept of the image of the author is related to such concepts as “linguistic personality”, “the writer’s language world”, “the overall image of the author”, “the addressee”. The perspective of such research is determined by expanding the boundaries of the study of the artistic text, which implies the activation of scientific interest in the personality of the writer, his way of thinking in the artistic language.
