Abstract

This article provides an in-depth analysis of personal data and privacy issues on metaverse platforms. First of all, the concept of metaverse, its features and advantages are explained. Then the processes of collection, storage and processing of personal data are considered in more detail. Privacy policies, legal requirements and the extent to which they are enforced are analyzed. In addition, the article proposes technological and legal solutions to protect personal information on metaverse platforms. For example, cryptographic methods, decentralized platforms, tokenization and other innovative approaches are discussed. Recommendations are also made in the field of legislation.
