STRENGTHENING OF INVESTMENT, LEGAL AND SCIENTIFIC COOPERATION BETWEEN UZBEKISTAN AND THE REPUBLIC OF AUSTRIA

Abstract

The Republic of Uzbekistan pursues an open, mutually beneficial, and constructive foreign policy based on its national interests. The country's contemporary foreign policy course is shaped by rapidly changing global and regional conditions, as well as by extensive internal changes. Since gaining independence, Uzbekistan has been actively and wisely addressing pressing socio-economic issues through foreign policy, international cooperation, and by relience on the experiences of the world's developed countries. The article focuses on relations with the Republic of Austria, one of Europe's most developed countries and among the top ten in global development indicators. It highlights the establishment and consistent continuation of cooperation with Austria since 2017. The impact of investment cooperation on Uzbekistan's economic stabilization, the effective use of Austria's "green technologies" for achieving economic growth while preserving a clean ecological environment, and the influence of inter-parliamentary experience exchanges on legislative changes in Uzbekistan are analyzed. The article also examines the positive achievements of Austria's education system and discusses their relevance to the development of Uzbekistan's education sector.
