COMPARISON ANALYSIS OF UPBRINGING PROVERBS AND SAYINGS RELATED TO NAMES OF PLANTS

The article classifies proverbs and sayings in the compared languages and analyzes their components with the concept of “plants” – phytonyms (names of trees, flowers, plants). The symbolism of plants was an integral part of the historical existence of the culture of different peoples and fiction of each era. In the course of the analysis, all components - phytonyms, mentioned in proverbs in the compared languages, were conditionally divided into three subgroups according to plant species: 1) forests and trees; 2) plants, flowers, cereals; 3) fruits, berries, vegetables and examples are given, the equivalence and differences of their components are indicated, their semantic correlation is compared.
