ECOLOGICAL AND LEGAL PROBLEMS OF USE OF ATOMIC ENERGY

In this article, the issue of the use of atomic energy, possible accidents caused by mistakes made in this use, and the issue of liability applied to it is consistently analyzed. Nowadays, the subject of nuclear power application is one of the most urgent problems of the energy sector at the international level, population growth, urbanization and technological development create high and high-quality energy needs that must be constantly fulfilled. However, these processes have a serious impact on the environment. For example, these can be the rise of the Earth's temperature, the rise of the sea level, the acidification of our waters, the increase in the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, and the depletion of the ozone layer. As a result, the correct use of nuclear energy has become an urgent problem. The relevance of this article is related to the specific aspects of the use of atomic energy, which arose with the development of the demand for atomic energy in the whole world.
