This article delves into the phonetic features of onomatopoeic words in English language, examining their phonetic features and sound sound related characteristics through examples. It also presents some phonetic patterns which can be applied to several onomatopoeic words in English. Through the analysis of examples and linguistic research, the article aims to elucidate the intricate relationship between phonetics and onomatopoeic words.
